I must say, coming from the New England area it was refreshing to walk into a place where the owner was welcoming and went out of his way to say hello and introduce himself. My family went in with their New England "wear" to find it alot like home with fans cheering and having a great time watching the sports on tv. Once we met the owner it was amazing to know that although he came from the New England area that he was extremely supportive of the city his business resides in as well supportive of the sports that represent NC. I would recommend this place to all for sports, food and great prices. A bonus if your from the New England area as well cause its fun to cheer on your teams with an entire room filled with the same fans. Keeping in mind what made this place so great is the complete mix of fans. Thanks for a great experience.

Rudy's has to be the best new restaurant I've come across in a while! Great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff and the prices are very reasonable. My favorite night is karaoke on Thursday. I met the owners who were extremely nice and made sure we were taken care of, definitely my new favorite!

Had lunch and the food was good. The owner stopped by, which was nice. However, he made sure you were informed he was from New England and how he remains a New England sports fan. He was a bit annoying with his constant name dropping of "famous" sports people who are his friends. We decided to go back for dinner. A Boston Bruins jersey was hanging up as soon as you walked in. The owner again made sure you knew he was a Bruins fan. He said the Bruins would beat the Canes in 4 or 5 games. We had dinner and the food was good. The "floor show" as my husband named it was extremely annoying. Oh did I mention the famous name dropping again? Saturday we took in the sites at Apex Peak Feast. Low and behold the owner was there raffling off tickets to the Canes/Bruins game. (Not sure who benefited from the money raised.) My husband had on a Canes shirt. The owner spotted us and yelled "Hey come buy a raffle. You can watch your team lose to the Bruins. Maybe it will be 5 to 4 this time." Does this gentleman know that this attitude does not endear him to anyone? We live Raleigh. We work in Apex. We earn our living here. We support our home teams. We won't spend our hard earned money at an establishment that wants to remain an "Outsider".
